We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Nono I don't mean that! I didn't really put too much thought into who the coloured person is, probably an African American though.
I've seen people as black as the ace of spades here in New Zealand, but they certainly haven't been of New Zealand origin. Maori people tend to not be that dark at all.
